Sounds like you need to do some training. Get some super great treats, then give him a spot to sit out of the way of the door. Teach him to sit there when you say a command. Then start introducing the door bell, say the command and give a treat. If you can get someone to play along and come in the house after ringing the door bell that would be great.
The behavior needs to stop even though he is little he needs to have the same rules as a big dog NO BITING.
It may take some time but stick with it and you'll have a dog everyone enjoys!
