toby was 3 lbs at 12 weeks and he is now 13 lbs full grown.... sometimes they slow down (i have heard of a 3lb puppy at 12 weeks being 6 lbs full grown) I guess it all depends on if their are any "miracle grow" yorkies in teh bloodline. IMO, i think having a larger yorkie is awesome. They arent nearly as fragile, but i didnt pay $1000 for him either
Sometimes i wish i could have a smaller one that i can actually take places and people not notice, but i am happy with toby and i am only a one dog at a time person
