I know it's frustrating and annoying but, really, sounds like teen-age boys all over the world.
They are rough and lots of things get broken! I do agree that they should show some remorse and Dad should request they pay for broken things out of their allowance.
Some accidents will happen though. I can't tell you how many of my things are misplaced because my son decided he needed some: scissors; clippers; brush; lint roller . . . you name it. Nothing gets put back where it was originally.
But he works hard in school; at his sport; doesn't do drugs . . .
I can live with it.
