I waited until Remy was a year old to have her spayed.
Her first heat came early and I was caught by surprise! The vet said to wait about a month after .. then the holidays hit!
So she was a year and she had about 4 baby teeth left. She had double teeth.. it was funny looking to say the least. It is recommend to have the teeth pulled at the time you have the spay/neuter so they don't have to be sedated more than once. The cost is due to the anesthesia so it would be even more costly if you wait to have the teeth pulled or other problem occur due to the baby teeth not coming out. Ha.. play a lot of tug of war with socks, maybe they will all come out on their own.
