I know what you mean because the front of our home is much colder than where the bedrooms are. My dogs like to sleep in the sun room where it is really cold. We've had a few people come in and try to get that room heated but it doesn't work. We had to put our dogs in an xpen at night because we were afraid they would get sick. It took a couple of weeks but they got used to staying in the bedrooms and now they sleep in bed with us. We put in two space heaters for our basset hounds that are too big to sleep in bed with us but we feel the basset hounds are much tougher than the small dogs. It was difficult but was a matter of their health and yes they did carry on for awhile but now things are good.
