Go to Petco and get you a bottle of Tropiclean D-Mat. I use if on Daisy after I have shampooed and conditioned her. I spray it on, let it sit a minute, rinse it out. It makes her coat very manageable for days. If you need to put some more in her coat after a few days, all you have to do is put your dog in the tub, get her/him wet, spray it on and rinse it out. It will refreshen the coat for another several days. I usually give my dog a full bath on Saturday mornings and then do a quick D-mat bath on Tuesday evenings. This has worked for me. Daisy's coat is long, thin and silky and it has worked great for us. Sounds like your dog has a similar coat.
