Hi All, I posted a similar post on the health and diet and haven't heard too much back
I'm considering altering Harley's diet a bit. He is on Now! which I'm going to keep, but I also gave him Trippet (green beef tripe). Well it's been back ordered for a while and I'm considering switching to something else for that added kick/supplement.
I've been giving him canned salmon, but my budget can support that. it's triple the price.
SO I have a few fishy options
Halo has a canned salmon based meal,
buying canned sardines
buying canned tuna
buying fresh local fish (salmon or haddock most likely) (in a fillet) and prepping it myself, and freezing it in meal portions
and my friend just told me at the local market I can also buy fish scraps, but my concern is there may be bones.
So does anyone include fish regularly in their baby's diets, how do you judge what to give, what do I need to think of before I buy something etc

. Like I said this is a supplement, and I'm trying to find something that would cost about $0.10-$0.15 per meal, as a can of tripe is just over 0.8 per can and I get 8 meals.
Oh and he can handle fish, he eats lobster when he visits his grampy, cause they are fresh off his boat! Ok yeah I"m sure some people right now wish they were my dog

! despite the fact that I'm a "broke" student, my dog's health and coat will never suffer!
