Haha I can completely relate to all this and I wouldn't mind the roaming at night except he jumps off the bed and then continually barks because he can't get back up! I was going to buy some stairs so he could get on and off but we're in the process of getting a new queen sized bed that is lower to the ground so he won't have a problem getting on and off which may help me SLEEP

As for the couch haha, I think me and my BF have been taking turns each night sleeping on the couch so the other can sleep, its crazy at my house right now LOL but honestly wouldn't trade it for the world
