That's pretty standard for a yorkie, born black/tan grown into blue (silver)/tan (gold). It's a shock though, with the first haircut, all that black hair gone and just silver remaining. Personally, as cute as the puppies are, I think adult yorkies are way prettier
Plus, I was glad to have all that puppy fur gone, it was knotted up every 5 minutes it seemed like. Now I can brush him once a day and he's gtg
He's only a year old, so still in color change mode, but I couldn't be happier. Wait until it grows a little longer, you'll see how pretty it really is
