I also freeze mine in ice cube trays and then at night before bed, I put what I need in the refrigerator for the next day. I have never had a problem where they are not defrosted.

When I am making a batch once frozen I will wrap them individually in foil. I do this with her canned food as well. This keeps them freezer burned free. They are also in freezer safe Ziplock bags, labeled/dated so I know what is what, and its shelf life. It makes it SOOO easy to grab one upwrap it and put it in the frige for the next day use!
