Yes ...Certain dogs can be taught - I taught Chanel in like 4 days but with Cheri she doesn't hold the eye contact long enough - you can just keep repeating SMILE and gently lift the corner of their mouths -
I never had to do that with Chanel cause I Swear she just imitated me smiling and it happened without me trying - but I did work with her so now she can smile when I ask her too -
It's hilarious - they look like little BEAVERS when they smile
