My Max is 8 months old and just started doing this. But he does it a little differently. He doesn't stick his paw in and paddle at the water. He puts his nails on the edge and pulls and dumps the whole thing over! At first I thought he was trying to get the little picture of the bone at the bottom of the dish, but he's been doing this with plain ones. I think he just likes the attention
