 X pen advice!
Hi all,
This weekend I bought an x pen for my babies. Bella is perfectly happy in the pen, but Jett, hates it. He cries, screams, and whines almost the whole time he is in it. I have his food, water, potty pad, bed, toys......etc in there, but he will have nothing to do with it. (I only want it when we leave the house and can't take the dogs with us or when we are eating, etc.)
Is there any way to get him to be more relaxed in it?? I even got in it too and sat with him to get him to relax, which did work, but the second I left, we got the screeching again!! I tend to leave him in the pen until he calms down and quiets. (This can take awhile) But I feel so guilty, and he looks soooooo sad. LOL I found I cannot leave him in the house alone for even a few minutes, he has found interest in the stairs, but is waaay too small to navigate the stairs, he will get up a few of them and stop and cry because he is stuck. |
