Yes, I think yorkies are MY breed. My first dog was a maltese and I loved him so much . . . I thought I would always have a maltese.
After he died, we waited about 4 years and I let my son choose his dog; he chose a Westie. My Westie is high energy; high spirited; and driven.
I chose Lucy because I felt a Maltese would be too laid back for Ringo and I DEFINITELY could not handle another Westie
Lucy is my heart dog; she's playful but not to the point where she'll rip your arm off (like Ringo); she loves to walk but not too far; and she sticks to me like a fly on fly paper. She is a great snuggler.
I can't imagine my life without a Yorkie in it.
