When my Bentley was young, bloody stools happened every couple of weeks, and each time we RAN to the vet, and each time the vet said if he is still "behaving" relatively normally, don't worry. And each time he was, and each time he was fine. The culprit, for us was stress. When he was young, it took little, now that he is older, it takes a lot to stress him!
You need to wait for the blood work.
Incidentally Bentley does get Bullies, every day, so for us I think they are ok, as they are for many.
I hope he is well.
