We had a poodle when I was growing up. I got my first Yorkie 23 yrs. ago and when he passed away from Kidney failure at the age of 8, I did look at other breeds and kept coming back to the Yorkie.
So I can honestly say, yes Yorkies are my "Heart Breed of Choice".
