It's a 24/7 job, and I loved every single baby that came into my care, but I must admit my favorite were the fawns. They're like puppy's.
I'd like to think that if hunters only knew, that wildlife love humans, and have peronalities, they'd change their minds.
My babies needed and demanded to be kissed & cuddled before being fed.
The hardest part is letting go...but I believe what is born in the wild must be returned to the wild.

I only learned this past year that many fawns end up homeless because their moms leave them while they look for food for them....and they stay waiting for mom. Many people do not realize this and pick them up thinking they need to be saved.
