For about three weeks I have cut her feeding down to two times a day so I could try and catch it but she does all times of the day. There is no warning of sniffing or turning. She just goes. Im trying to be patient and starting today she is no longer allowed on the furniture and I hate to do that as she is a true lap dog.
I sure could use advice and some hope that this will change . Thank you! |
Hi Kathy!
The only thing I can tell you is...I wouldn't let her on the furniture...and you are doing this already. One of my little girls has done that a few times...don't know which one though. I did have them pad trained as my husband and I both work and are out of the house too long for them to hold "messes" They were doing GREAT with the pads then all of a sudden they started going where ever they felt like it! VERY FRUSTRATING to say the least! I was going to look into a spray that would maybe deter them from the spots they are using. I was thinking maybe bitter apple would work? I know it's supposed to stop them from biting furniture but, maybe just the smell of it would help. I also thought about blocking them in the kitchen like I did when I first got them. I am at a loss as well as you are...If you figure something out please share! And I will too!
Good Luck
