What's rude about asking just where in the pedigree the CH's are?
If it's a 3rd cousin, once removed on dad's side, then it doesn't mean the same thing as multiple direct CH lines.
Unfortunately, to an uniformed buyer, saying that a pup comes from CH lines is tantamount to a stamp of approval on the breeding program when it might not really be. It's buyer beware when it comes to knowing exactly what that statement really means.
