Yes, I know.There is not any rule about the color of bow, or type of bow. The judge is judging the dog not the bow.
The reason why the red is most used is because is brings out the gold and compliments the blue in their body coat color. I most use red a lot, but I have also used green, turq. blues, burnt orange, red and white poka dot, and bright pink. You can use any color.
