I need to pick out a new playpen/x pen for the two little ones. Their xpen is huge and takes up the whole kitchen and it's metal which can scratch the floor and is heavy to travel with. We're ready for a change and want to set something up in an area other than our beautiful eat in kitchen. I would like to move them to a bedroom or basement room instead but need something that either comes with a floor or I can build a floor with tiles so that pee doesn't go into the carpet JUST IN CASE.

I'm looking at a few models and need advice from people that use them.

1. The iris brand plastic xpens Pet Containment Pens - Exercise Pens - Crates & Kennels - PetSmart

2. The pet gear playpen style pen

Anyone have these, what do you think? What do you do for pee/poop getting through to carpeted areas or even tiled ones. How easy is cleanup. Is it comfy and warm? Do they tear it up or chew through it?

Anyone with some kind of crate/pen experience please help.
