Any advice on being sure she is ok.. the medication the vet gave us of course...

Kennel Cough is highly contagious. I think the incubation period is 3 to 5 days from time of exposure. You can even bring it home to your dogs on your shoes or hands if you come in contact with the virus. I think the vaccination only lasts for about 6 months so if your other dogs have not been vaccinated recently they can get it. It takes a week or longer for them to get over the cough.
