This happened with my first yorkie, Dixie. Back then I would breed my females 3 times over a 6 day period. Obviously the last breeding took and she probably conceived a couple days after the last breeding. I did have the vet check her and he told me she seemed just fine and not to worry. She had 4 healthy babies all delivered naturally. I have had other females go 68 and 69 days.

When you breed a female you don't know what day she will actually conceive. The eggs can drop anytime during the heat cycle. Day 11 is the most common day for breeding but all females are different. Some will conceive early in their heat cycle and some late in their heat cycle.
