You stated that
"A few months later he told me his sister just had a few litters at once" Now I am not sure but, he didn't say one or two litters at once but a "few". I wonder how many dogs she really has. I also wonder in what conditions this poor baby was kept in. Maybe you could suggest that you visit this breeder "to get to know her" and see for yourself how they are kept. Then you might know how to deal with this baby.
Who is respomsible for any vet care this baby needs? Do you guys have an written agreement? Do you have a shot record for him...making sure he doesn't pass anything on to your babies? Can you stud him out anytime? Are you co-owner? Will the Dam come to your house or will she take him away to stud(in which case the way he acts when came to you I would be hesitant)
I am sorry for all the questions, but it seems like she is more or less using you and she will be the one who benefits from his stud service while you are doing everything else for him. I can understand all this if you were just looking for another family member, but it seems like there is a little more to it than that.
