I kicked the soda habit.. never did like diet..it is soooooo bad for you. I teach a food production class and the students like to bring "extras" in on lab days to go with what we prepared... I banned soda and few years ago.
I love water but sometimes I want something more.. so I add a bit of juice to my water bottle... like cranberry or blueberry so I get the nutrient, a bit of taste and not a lot of calories.
