Most everything I would say has already been said by Nancy and very well too! So I thought I would just start by quoting her post!

There are a handful of folks on Yorkietalk that I REALLY want to meet in person so I can thank them for all of their information and support -- and Nancy is one of those!
London is a cutie alright. I love her look but pls be very careful. Hard for me to imagine a breeder letting her go this early, that low a weight and to someone inexperienced with yorkies to boot. Luckily, you are doing the right thing, searching for info to help your baby through the treacherous early weeks. Make sure you have some Nutrical on hand in case she does exhibit hypoglycemic symptoms. She really is only 11 ounces? My Annie was 1.3 pounds when I got her at 11 weeks and that was pretty small. One reason I got her was the breeder knew I had experience with a couple of litters myself, because she would not have sold her to just anyone being that small. London is on track to be pretty small as an adult (less than 2 pounds according to the Yorkie Growth Chart Guess-imator) but sometimes they get a slow start for one reason or another and can still wind up average size as an adult. Was she from a large litter? That could be one reason for a low birth weight.
You are a neighbor of mine. I live across the bridge in Santa Rosa County.

There are actually several of us from NW Florida and Southern Alabama. If life ever settles down a little more, I want to organize a playdate for us all to meet and have our pups enjoy each other. I was thinking March or April would be great as the weather should be warm enough to meet at a park and maybe even picnic. London should be old enough to have her vaccines completed by then too so maybe you all would like to join in the fun!
We have a pretty good 24/7 Emergency Vet on Davis Highway. Different vets in the area rotate on duty there. I would make sure to have their number and address on the fridge. I have never used them yet, but have the number handy for "just in case." I use the Ark Animal Hospital in Pace. They are great but might be too far for you.
What are you feeding your pup? Make sure it is a high quality, premium puppy food. Nutrition will be even more important for such a little one. She will not eat much, so you need to make sure it is the best it can be.
Can you tell who the breeder was that sold your sweet baby to you? If you don't want to put the name out on the forum for some reason, you can always send by personal message. Just click on my member name for the option to send a message. But there is nothing wrong with posting a breeder's name, just to say that is where you got your pup. I hope she is giving you support and helpful in information about a new Yorkie pup. Also hope she gave a good health guarantee. That is one of the sore spots with me. I see too many breeders not giving an appropriate health guarantee, leaving new owners holding the bag for vet fees that they should have contributed to.
I know you have to be so proud to be the new owner/momma to such a beautiful pup! I wish you the both the best as you bond and become a family. I would be glad to help in any way if questions come up. You can PM me anytime and I'll send a msg with my phone number. Welcome to Yorkietalk and hope you enjoy it here as much as I do!
I just realized how hilarious this is -- first I say Nancy said almost everything I would say, then I write a book. I need help! Seriously, I do not talk this much in person.
