Hi everyone!
I must say that I appreciate each and everyone's response=) I will tell you a little about our daily care regimen:
She is fed Eukanuba small bites for small breed puppies which have proved to be very yummy to her and she has no problem eating it at all (fresh small bites and water are left in her pack n' play 24/7). In her pen, I also have small toys, a potty pad, and a heating pad which is left on at all times. I've been making sure she eats every 3 hours, and if she doesn't...she is syringe fed with gerber chicken and rice baby food mixed with a little bit of karo syrup.
I was also worried about her getting hurt or stepped on by myself or my husband so she is restricted to the kitchen area with a baby gate and is kept in to play (only for 30 minutes at a time, I know that can over-exhaust themselves easily). I'm also a Nanny and only work twice a week so that means I'm home quite often with her. However, I am also lucky enough to have the family I care for to allow me to bring her with me=)
This is just a small run-down of the preparations and care I've been providing for her since I got her this past Saturday. I'm excited and very nervous making sure that I do everything just right! I appreciate all of the support and helpful tips!! Keep them coming=) |
