You wanna call someone cruel for dying their dog then go ahead, call me cruel. Look at my pictures and my posts and see how cruel I am to my faithful companion dog. See the fear and torment in her eyes? omg i'm such a bad owner....
I don't see anything at all cruel in what you did! No stick up my butt. I think it is cute & funny. Not how I want my yorkie to look, but for a fun temporary thing, no harm, no foul! Just as you did, I might do something like that for Halloween. What did you use and how many washings to get it all out? I would not want it to last too long as I do love standard yorkie colors above all. But I do like doing fun things with my pups. They love the sound of laughter. All 3 of my dogs SMILE when they are happy and I love to see them smile. The thing that makes them smile the most is people laughing! They know "happy," "fun" and "enjoyment" are good things.

I dress very conservative EXCEPT I love wild and crazy socks. I have these mis-matched bright-colored striped ones that really make me smile. I put temporarily coloring a pup's hair, into this same category. Not something I would do all the time, maybe not even at all, but something that has the potential to add some excitement and fun into an otherwise normal day. I might never do it but if I do, I don't think there is a thing in the world wrong with it. Even if I thought it was horrible and not at all in my taste, I would still speak out (write out?) for the RIGHT of every pet owner to make their own decision and not be so judgemental.
