I home cook and make the Healthy Powder from Dr. Pitcairn's book, NATURAL HEALTH FOR DOGS AND CATS. I think dogs that eat commercial dog food should also be on some kind of vitamins because "if" any vitamins ARE added, the boiling process would kill those off. Plus, I doubt very seriously if the rendering plants are going to be adding hundreds of gallons of vitamins to their large vats.
