ah, so cute and cozy looking. Could you cut out a "door" at one end with some pet steps going up to it? That way if they decided to jump out they'd use the door instead. Or do you like them contained at night (our dogs' night beds are plastic crates, originally we started using them so they would be contained for safety and also so they couldn't get out and left us a poopie to step on first thing in the morning, now they love sleeping in them - at night only, won't get in them during the day)
Anyway, love the bassinette idea, it's very cute. And our Yorkies are our babies that's for sure!
