I have heard this too. Bogey and Doodlebug are both lickers and will lick my hands, arms and legs when they lay my me. I didn't realize it was their way of saying I was pack leader until I started to do some research. I also didn't realize that when I told them to stop and they did that was my giving permission. Whenever I tell them to stop they will. Pebbles never licks me but will do it to my husband.
