OMGoodness! Thanks for sharing this info. When my fiance'(now husband) was living in Illinois we went to several of these petshops. So glad I didn't purchase from there. Unfortunately and fortunately at the time I was not aware of pet stores being supplied by puppy mills and a year ago I purchased my furbaby from a pet store here in Nebraska(keep in mind I was unaware of where these babies came from). I was blessed to have gotten/rescued a dog that is healthy and has become the love of my life! Knowing better(now) I will never purchase again from a pet store! Do all states have some type of law against puppy mills, in particular Nebraska? |
