Thank you, it drives my friends crazy because its like "hey lets go to(insert random mass chain restaurant hear)" and my response is always "instead lets go (insert local restaurant name hear) it's owned by (insert name of sweet person who owns restaurant)and they have great service and better food.
I started this because of a book my teen check out of the library the challenged kids to be more green. one suggestion was buying local because it saves gas and packaging.
I'm lucky enough to be able to buy almost everything locally I feel bad for the people who cant.
