Our family lost a long term family member today our family toy poodle Peanut. We had her for 15 years and her passing was so very sad for our entire family. My son, who is 19 years old, cried as he said that was his childhood dog. She has been very sick for the past month and we knew this day was coming. The vet told us this afternoon that she was in kidney failure and that her blood pressure was very low. Peanut had not been eating well for the past few weeks and pretty much stopped eating altogether over the weekend. Our vet assured us that is was the humane thing to do for Peanut and that we had done all that was humanly possible to give her a quality life. We will sure miss her. She left us and we are sad but we got two Yorkies over 6 months ago and they are bringin us much joy. Although they will never "replace" peanut, we are looking forward to many memories with Molly and Maggie. We miss you Peanut RIP.
