I havent been cooking lately but when I do, I spend a couple of hours rationing out raw meats....cleaning chicken or beef and weighing them out and putting them into little baggies in the freezer. Then I always have my meat ready to cook up fast with whatever veggie I have on hand. If I have nothing fresh on hand, I keep frozen veggies in the freezer. I just find that cleaning the meats takes me the longest so I like to do that part in advance. Then I can just stir fry it or bake something in the oven quickly etc. Once you get your routine down, it really isn't all that time consuming.
