I do a lot of cooking but usually not every night. I'll make one big grocery trip on the weekend usually for staples, things for our lunch boxes, etc. then I might stop every other night or so on the way home for fresh stuff, veggies and fresh meat for whatever I'm making for supper that night. It's just the two of us so I try to make enough for supper that one or both of us can take the leftovers for lunch the next day or two and I can also have it for supper the next night if DH works late. We live in an apartment which has a teeny teeny tiny kitchen with very little storage space and nofreezer other than the refrigerator freezer so no room to buy bulk and stock ahead as much as I'd like to. |
