Try closing your hand into a fist(with the treat in it) so Bailey can't get the treat. Put the hand in front of Bailey face. He will try his best to get at the treat. Say "Sit" and Slowly raise you hand above head so his head is going up. You might have to use your other hand and gently push his butt down. As soon as he sits, open your fist so he can get the treat.
I usually sitting on the floor when I teach the "sit" command. That way, I'm not leaning toward the puppy. |
