Something I have learned here over time is to feed the food that YOUR dog (or dogs) do best on.
My mother had a German Shepard when I was a child. She lived to be 13 years old and was never sick. She was fed Purina.
I feed my furbabies what I feel is the best food for them and that I feel comfortable feeding.
Right now that is a no corn or by-product dog food and that is in the middle 20's for protein.
I am currently feeding Now! Small Breed but will be trying Natural Balance Small Bites when this bag is gone (for variety).
