I don't believe the bath or the reflection is what's causing the issues...Its just separation anxiety. Puppies are used to sleeping with others and being alone can be very hard for them to deal with.

I don't think you should let him eat or drink so late at night though..you might find him needing to go potty very very early in the morning...jmo
Great post Even older dogs will seek out the warmth of your lap and fall asleep... Yorkies love to cuddle and be a part of their family... and as you are a 'new' Mommie.... the baby just wants to be with you.
