Maybe I wasn't clear in my post or you just didn't take the time to read the rest of the thread. He was in the cage while I was home because I'm trying to get used to him being in there before I take a job in the daytime hours.
At the time I posted this thread, he'd been in there like 15-20min. It's not as if I've been keeping Tommy in the cage all day/night and only getting out to potty. Sheesh!
Anyway, I hope you and anyone else seeking clarification now understand a little better.
