My yorkie sleeps in bed with me, but usually on top of the covers. My other dog has always slept underneath the covers, snuggled right up next to me. We've never had an issue and he's done it since I got him at 4-5 months old. Guess I've never thought about if it is good or bad. Though I don't think its up for debate. He refuses to sleep anywhere else.
