I think you're asking how to get better results when you search for something on YT. If so, I usually use the Advanced Search (it's an option in the drop down box when you click on Search). Try to use as few words as possible that describe what it is you're trying to find. Another way if you know the topic, would be to click on the Forums button on the top of the page, choose the topic & then off to the right of the page that comes up is another Search this subject (or forum, I forget exact wording. There are a LOT of topic breakdowns in the Forum tab.
