We are having lab test done to see if maybe a stomach or organ issue could be making him hunch over. Has anyone ever had this happen. He still runs up and down the stairs, he is just arched like a black cat. I repeat this recently did start and so slowly we didn't freak, but now he is very uncomfortable looking. At the groomers she thought he has a little discomfort, although he doesn't cry or bite at her. We will do anything to just make sure he is well! No speacialist in the area so we are just going throught the hoops. Not sure how crazy I should get about this as there appears to be no pain, but why the Arched back? Anyone with any info would be helpful. Something is wrong. |
Has there been any change in his weight? Up or down? Are his feet tracking normally, ie as they were before the arching of the back? what about his head carriage? Is it about the same or have you noticed a change?
Change in diet, stool, or eyes, ears?
Anal gland check is easily done, and good to rule out. Full blood panel prior Xrays in this case. Particularly calcium levels I would want to know.
