Hi! My little girl is 100 percent house broken. However, she was eight months old before I could fully trust her in the house. She has been trained on the wee wee pads and never goes outside. We live in New York and it gets pretty cold here in the winters - so she has a corner in our washroom and has not had an accident in over 4 years.

My little boy - on the other hand............... Is a year old and still goes in the house. He however, prefers to go outside - no matter how cold it is.

So.............. every dog is different. Keep at it - it does take diligence and patience. Four months is approximately the time you can start being serious about housebreaking. Before that.............. probably is too early to get any serious results.

Good luck!!!
