Canned pumpkin would definitely help, as well as bran. Adding fiber through these helps to retain moisture within the stool, as well as adding bulk to the stool. Apples, brown rice, and fresh or frozen vegees are also a good source of fiber.

As Yorkiedaze stated, Oil also helps to soften the stool, making it easier to pass.
