I use a Chris Christensen brush and combs as well, but also recommended the Madan as a more cost effective alternative for "pet" owners. Of course if money is not a problem, then by all means, get the very best! But then again, I know show exhibitors who use Madan. The point here is to always use some type of spray on conditioner and slowly work thru the mat to break it up.
