 First things first
While it's fun to take your new puppy to pet stores to show him off please make sure he has limited contact to strange dogs and cats until he has had all his vaccinations.
My Yorkie is 3 yrs old and I still won't let him walk around pet stores because of all the diseases he could catch from other dogs urine, etc.
Parvo, one of the worst things your puppy can catch and it is spread from via their feet.
