The puppy is about 5 months , and we only have had her 11 days. Perhaps she is still adjusting? Also, she is a rescue . I have no idea what kind of life she had before us. SHe eats well , and loves attention all the time. Just so much different then Suzi. |

When we brought home our Shih tzu pup she was also calm and laid back. But, I figured it was because she was a Shi Tzu, LOL . I have not been around other Yorkie's to know the difference's . Suzi was the only one , so I automatically assumed that was the way ALL yorkie's acted. |
Mscat, is this a "rescue" or is this the approx 5 month old pup your brother found on the street and brought to you on January 17 that you named Emma?

On January 21, only 4 days after finding the pup, you had a doctor write a prescription on keeping her as a service dog. (see post #41)
You also indicated that you are not allowed to have more than 2 dogs where you live, and you already have 2 service dogs.
Somewhere, someone's heart is breaking because they have lost their pup. You wrote that your dogs would never get out and go missing and that anyone who allowed this pup to get out must not be a worthy owner. Many of us posted to you that even the most responsible, caring owners have experienced the nightmare of a dog getting out. I always said it would never happen to me, yet it did. Luckily, my pup never made it out of my sight, but if I had returned home a few minutes later than what I did that day, it would have been a different story.
If someone found my dog, I pray that person would work hard to reunite him with his family and not keep him.
