As you wrote, they mature at different rates.
Max was born mature. He did a lot of the usual puppy things and he can be a clown, but overall he has always been highly principled and well-mannered.
Teddy is 1 and a half, and he is maturing slowly. He is such an angel, but he has a love for wrestling. Poor Max has to put up with being tackled and having his topknot pulled daily. Sometimes he enjoys tussling, but if he isn't in the mood, he lets Teddy know. The wrestling is slowing down.
Make sure Rocci has a place where he can get away. Max used to take refuge on the couch because Teddy wouldn't jump up there with him.
