Pre-op bloodwork is a must! I would also ask about getting dental done while your pup is already under and after care pain management (e.g. pain meds). I would make sure your pup is getting an IV as well. Ask about microchipping too while your pup is under. Hmmm... I can't think of anything else right this second, but I thought I'd give you a start!
